With Checksum you can quickly check the integrity of a file you downloaded.
When you download a file like an application or an installer. A lot of times the developer will show a hash next to the download button. Copy this hash. Open the Checksum app, the copied hash will automatically be pasted in.
Drop in the file you just downloaded and check if the file is still the same as the developer intended.
